In 2014 Ray White started fundraising for Finnan’s Gift. Finnan’s Gift is a charity set up by Alisa Camplin and husband Oliver who sadly lost their baby boy, Finnan, when he was just 10 days old to a congenital heart disease. 1 in every 100 babies born in Australia suffer from this disease.
With your support, Finnan’s Gift will help save and improve lives by providing tangible gifts to The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Whether it be a piece of critical equipment, much needed research, advanced training or greater support for patients and families, Finnan’s Gift makes a difference while raising awareness of Congenital Heart Disease.
On Wednesday the 13th April 2016, the Ray White Ferntree Gully & Chelsea offices, along with Alisa and Oliver Camplin- Warner presented a $150,000 cheque to the Cardio department at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH). This money will be able to buy Heart Arrhythmia equipment for the department. At the handover event Alisa, Oliver and the RCH explained the money raised this year will be going towards a Karl Storz Vitom and camera system for the Cardiac Surgery Unit. The innovative equipment records operating procedures in full high definition, takes still photos in theatre and assists with the training of surgeons and clinical staff, both during and post-surgery. We thank the Ray White team for all their fundraising efforts and donations over the last year to help Finnan’s Gift make a difference to the RCH. The charity continues to improve and save lives of children with cardiac issues and we are proud to be a part of such a great cause. We look forward to raising more money in the coming year.
If you only donate to one cause this year, make it be this one.
