Last week we had the pleasure in enjoying an inspirational presentation from Alisa Camplin at the Annual Ray White Women In Business High Tea which was held at the Sheraton Hotel Melbourme.
Alisa spoke about her 8 year quest to become an Olympic Champion and representing Australia in the Winter 2002 Olympic Games, where is won Gold. A truly inspirational Australian, who shared the how, why and when of her amazing journey to transition from learning how to ski to becoming a master in her sport and ultimately win Gold.
Alisa currently sits on the board of several organisations including the Collingwood Football Club, Australian Sport Foundation, Australia Sports Commission and more recently a Co-Founder of Finnan’s Gift supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Finnan’s Gift was set up by Alisa and Oliver Camplin-Warner to honour their son Finnan who was diagnosed in-utero with congenital heart disease (CHD) and passed away at just 10-days-old. The project aims to raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital and awareness for CHD, which is the leading cause of death in young children in Australia
With over 100 people in attendance at the High Tea, we are extremely proud to have helped raise $10,000 for Finnan’s Gift from the live auction and raffle held after a moving & inspirational talk from Alisa Camplin.
Sandrena Lord of our office was the lucky bidder on a luxury night at Crown Towers for the night of our Annual Ray White Awards.
